Where has J.C. been lately?

JC was the Guest of Honor at the Las Vegas Magic Invitational in June of 2006 where to his great surprise, he received a Lifetime Achievement Award for his contributions to the Magic Arts.

In April of 2006 JC appeared at the 36th Annual Fechter's Finger Flicking Frolic in Buffalo, NY.

On 9-11 September 05 JC had a reunion  with many old bar magic friends while they all performed at the Rocky Mountain Magic Convention in Fort Collins, CO.   It was a once in a lifetime occasion for true bar magic afficianados as the several legends of that magic genre came together for the 1st time in many years.
Note: Their bartender was not as adept at the GTFM philosophy as witnessed by the empty glasses!

On 29 May 04 JC, accompanied by longtime friend Phil O'Brien entertained St. Louis Rams owner Georgia Frontiere and her family and their guests at her Arizona ranch with his time tested brand of bar magic. 
Many new friends were made & JC rekindled his love for the Southwest.

Nothin up my sleeve... Presto!

On 14-16 August 03 J.C. made his first public performances in over 12 years in the WC Fields Bar at Hollywood's Magic Castle.  It was a triumphant return for one of Bar Magic's legendary performers.  Many old friends, peers & long time fans were not disappointed as he dazzled them with a variety of his old, but still mystifying standards & a few  effects brought out of the ole bag of tricks & dusted off.

J.C. traveled to the Magic Castle again on June 7th to surprise old comrade Doc Eason who was working the W.C Fields Bar.  Many old memories were exchanged between these two veterans of the Bar Magic clan & a good night was had by all.

J.C. & Doc Together again!

J.C. traveled to the Magic Castle on May 10th & 11th to see one of his older friends & proteges, Terry Lunceford on his birthday.  It was a "magical" evening (pun very much intended) as J.C. met many old friends from years gone by & old stories were exchanged.  Here are a few of the pics.
